Homes under $1 Million

Waterfront Homes

La Jolla is known to be one or the most affluent communities in the United States.  It is visually dramatic with its rugged coastline of ocean bluffs, sea caves and sandy beaches.  Called "The Jewel" by those that know it, its name is thought to be derived from the Native American name for "Cave".  It offers extreme luxury living to those who desire it as well as a down to earth feel one can only find in a beach city.

La Jolla is home to fine restaurants, luxury shopping, amazing hotels and art galeries, two great universities (UCSD and Scripps Institute of Oceanography), a world renowned golf course, amazing beaches and a combination of very high end luxury homes and small beach cottages.

La Jolla is a Beach Town with 16 Distinct Neighborhoods.
